CFMOTO has officially announced a long-term strategic partnership with Brembo, one of the world's leading braking system manufacturers. The collaboration goes beyond a traditional supplier agreement, with both companies co-developing braking systems for future mid- and large-displacement CFMOTO motorcycles. The partnership also includes technology innovation, motorsport collaboration, brand development, and support for the next generation of racing talent.

CFMOTO Partners with Brembo: What Does This Mean for Future Motorcycles?

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMOTO has officially announced a long-term strategic partnership with Brembo, one of the world's most renowned braking system manufacturers. More than a traditional supplier agreement, this collaboration marks the beginning of a joint development program focused on future mid- and large-displacement CFMOTO motorcycles.

According to the official announcement, CFMOTO and Brembo will work together from the earliest stages of motorcycle development. Instead of integrating braking components after a motorcycle has been designed, both companies will jointly develop braking systems as a core part of the vehicle's engineering process.

More Than Brakes – A True Engineering Partnership

One of the most significant aspects of the agreement is its co-development approach. Brembo engineers will collaborate directly with CFMOTO's research and development teams throughout the design, integration, calibration, validation, and real-world testing of future braking systems.

This engineering partnership will allow braking solutions to be optimized for each motorcycle platform, providing an improved balance between safety, control, and overall riding performance.

Bringing Racing Technology to the Road

The partnership extends beyond production motorcycles. CFMOTO has achieved remarkable success in the Moto3 and Moto2 World Championships over the past few seasons, while Brembo has long been recognized as the benchmark supplier of braking technology across MotoGP and other premier racing categories.

By combining their expertise, both companies aim to transfer race-derived braking technologies into future high-displacement CFMOTO motorcycles, delivering stronger braking performance, greater rider confidence, and improved control on the road.

Expanding Collaboration Beyond Product Development

The strategic partnership also covers several additional areas, including technology innovation, motorsport activities, brand development, and talent cultivation.

As part of the agreement, Brembo will become a strategic partner of the CFMOTO Talent Project, supporting the development of the next generation of Chinese motorcycle racing talent through shared technical expertise and motorsport experience.

Which Models Will Feature the New Technology?

At this stage, CFMOTO has not officially confirmed any specific motorcycle models that will receive the jointly developed braking systems.

The company only states that the collaboration will focus on future mid- and large-displacement motorcycles. Therefore, no changes have been announced for current production models.

Industry observers, however, expect future platforms in the 675cc, 800cc, and larger-displacement segments to benefit from this engineering partnership as new models are introduced in the coming years.

A New Step Toward the Premium Motorcycle Segment

Over the past few years, CFMOTO has rapidly strengthened its position in the global motorcycle market through new product platforms, continuous technological development, and growing success in international motorsport.

Its long-term partnership with Brembo represents another important milestone in the company's strategy to collaborate with world-leading technology partners while enhancing both engineering capability and global brand value.

As future CFMOTO motorcycles enter development with Brembo's engineering expertise integrated from the beginning, riders can expect higher standards of braking performance, improved safety, greater control, and a more refined riding experience. The impact of this collaboration is expected to become increasingly evident in the brand's upcoming high-displacement motorcycle lineup.
